From 19 to 23 October in the State Duma of the Russian Federation and from 20 to 21 October in the Council of Federation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation held a series of events planned in the framework of the year of Udmurtia in Moscow.

Within a few days the senators and deputies of the lower and upper houses of the Parliament discussed the issues and prospects of socio-economic development of the Republic.

In the framework of working meetings there were discussed actual questions of health, social policy, construction and housing and communal services, development of spheres of sport, education and culture.

On a gross exhibition devoted to the 95th anniversary of the statehood of Udmurtia were presented the main achievements of the Republic in the leading spheres of industry, agriculture, education, sports, culture.

Stand the cultural sector dedicated to the 175th anniversary of the great composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky. In the field of agricultural policy presented the success in dairy farming, presented products to regional producers in the industry – products of the military-industrial complex.

The exhibit consisted of a light box with information about the region and about the celebrities who were born in the Udmurt Republic and glorified the region.
